Lacking of motivation

Monday, November 30, 2009
In just the past few weeks I've been trying to stay at craft room and make some cards like what I usually do. Each time I realize it's time to make some craft goodies, it always not the case. Lacking of motivation :( Haha.. but I thank you for my friends who make orders for Christmas's card. Before I flew to Melbourne for Laurence (my newborn's nephew) full month celebration, I completed 20 out of 35 cards and I took the remaining 15cards to Melbourne just to do final touch-up. But the worst part was I forgot to take photos of them.. Arghh. So far I only got 1 card to show it to you guys. 1 card!!! I'm such a slacker nowadays. Please forgive me.

I specially made this card for my colleague, Danniel who requested a anniversary card for his 4 years's girlfriend, Charlotte, who also my colleague as well. I'm glad she like it :)

The only thing she commented was the envelope. I'm currently using those post-letter envelope for most of my orders. She would prefer those we normally purchase from gift store or card section. It makes sense. Envelopes does effect the whole quality of the card as well. I really appreciate her suggestion and I probably will change it to those thicker envelope for my future orders :) to look more professional. Anyway, more updates are their way.

Wonderful One Week- Part 1

Monday, July 6, 2009
It's a week that I truly enjoy myself throughout the week. I had wonderful week with the boyfriend and friends. The boyfriend just left and flew back to Miri. I was a cry baby after he entered the custom gate. Geeezz.. but I really thankful that I celebrated my birthday with my family, boyfriend and group of friends. I love them all. We took a lot of photo and I guess I have divide it into few posts to finish it. The boyfriend always love to watch movies and food, of course. So, during his stay at Sydney, we watched all the latest movies, Terminator (he insisted want to watch this at night even though he only touched down in the morning), Transformer (at IMAX, my first time too! Darling was very amazed with the big screen in there), Ice Age (in 3D). Other than movies, we went yum chaaa all the way. Ha! Eat non stop seriously.

Sushi after movie

The boys

Darling enjoyed the sushi (I was straving before this, so I ate like a monster. *shy)

After first day, I brought the boys to bondi to have some yum cha session and my bro did a little shopping too :)
We waited for almost one hour at outside :/ almost give up because everyone are starving and started to protest

Boyfriend likes this graffiti wall

Scary weather

The next day, I brought darling to Ichiban Bohsi, located at Town Hall to try with their dishes.

I ordered this and darling regrets that he didn't ordered this. hehe

One of my fav~ Gyoza (fried dumplings)

We were so full after this. So we decided to walk around at QVB (actually I already planned this way ahead. haha) and of course, took lots of photo in there.

Darling was waaay too excited when he saw this letter which written by the Queen. Appreantly this letter only allow to open in 2085. Hmmm... I'm wonder what the Queen hide behind this?

big kid playing with the toy... lol

Cholaaatt~ yum yum

Apple store. Darling was amazed (again!) when he saw this glassy building- Apple Store, with pack with people even though it's already 5pm.

the staircase inside Apple store

After walk around at Apple store, it's time for us to walk to Darling Habour because we're going to watch Transformer at IMAX with friends.
Quick snap at Darling Habour before go to IMAX

Darling got pumped when he reach here :))

Yes! We have to queue up for the movie. Darling says, 'this is so not going happen back at Miri. LOL'. He was shocked when the girl told us that we better queue up A.S.A.P because.... it's FREE sitting. What?! but yeah.. we listened to her, joined the queue yet waiting for our friends to arrive. I'm glad that we went there early. It's a looooooong queue. Phew! After this, bunch of us went to Hurricane's Grill at Darling Habour. It's my darling first try Sydney's famous grill ribs. Tumbs up from him!! Sad that my camera was playing up (basically the camera ran out of batt at very bad timing) when we get there. So no photos of the ribs!

Anyway, my lovely readers, I should stop now. I'll continue tomorrow or day later for more photos and stories to share with. I have to go get shower and wake up early tomorrow morning because need to catch a train to Olympic Park for Hillsong Conference. The reason why I have to go so early because I'm volunteering and we have a meeting in the morning and get ready to start all the craziness with the young kids in the afternoon. Yes! Pray Lord that give us the energy and wisdom and strong body to serve and praise the Lord! Amen!

Night night, people!!

Brownie. Easter.

Monday, April 13, 2009
I think this is going to be a long post with lots of photo and card to show you guys. Start for last week, when I finish my last class at uni last Thursday, YES, Baby!! It's Easter!! A week holiday for us! So, my sister, bro and I decided go Bondi to do some shopping after Friday's Easter service at church. After we finish the service, we all excited going to Bondi. So, we took train from the central straight to Bondi's Westfield shopping center and this is my brother's first train ride at Sydney. So, all good.

BUT.. when we reach there, I had a bad feeling when I see not much people at the train station. As we walk out from the train station, this is really bad. Bondi's Westfield shopping centre is usually pack with people but I didn't see the Peooplee!! So, I guessed proably few stores in the shopping centre didn't open, that's why. Who knowss~ it was the WHOLE shopping centre.*crap... I hate this!! We all planned what to get from there and IT CLOSED during Easter's Friday. Geez.. I should know this (that ang mo usually close their shop during public holiday) after staying at Australia for about 6 years now. Oh well.. we kinda disappointed at the end and walked around for 5 minutes and none of the stores open. SO, we headed back home.

During that night, my sister told me, "Sis, we have to get back to Westfield tomorrow!! Must!". OK! SO, off to go Bondi again on the next day. YAY!! It's opened! haha..and it was packed with people. After finish lunch at food court, I decided head straight to craft store, and sister, brother went to shopping at Myres (sis's fav).
BIG Ferrero Rocher's Easter Egg at Westfield's shopping center. Pretty~

I couldn't believe I spent 1 1/2 hours at Eckersley's till my sister called me, "Sis, almost 4.30pm. We have to catch our bus''. I managed get some stamps and gel pen from there. Happy me :)!! For the past few days, I made some cards. There are 1 and 2 particular that I like. Others? It's not that I don't like them, but is just either I made some mistake and it's just ain't right.. Hmmm. Show you guys what I came out with. Rubs-on, embossing and buttons.

From last week. I made some changes and I seriously don't know whether is good or bad

'Wonderfully You'
Chocolate chip ribbon with green scallop border

Played around with stamp. Brown cardstock
More brown

Brown again

Does this card look empty for you?

Cute card with smiling sunflowers. I should some dimensionals behind the white cardstock which I didn't. So, basically it's kinda flat. At the end, I added some dimensionals at button.

A very simple one

Bright green card stock with new flower clear stamp which got it from Eckersley's. Love it

How about this? I rounded one the top's corner.

On Sunday, we went to Sydney Entertainment Center for Hillsong's very first 'Art From The Heart' and followed up by a celebration service with powerful praise and worship. We got to watch the top 5 film nominates. Click here to watch more short films and here for gallery for artworks. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the show! Once you're done watching, please cast your vote at the bottom of the page. 'Immolation by Glenn Stewart' is my favourite. So, I voted for Glenn Stewart. My top choice among all 5 top films. We got to watch another touching film during the service, it's a film between a father and a son. Very touching one. I wanted to vote that but I guess it's kinda long (the original is 33 minutes but edited to become 8-12 minutes film (didn't really know notice how long the film is)) and they didn't put it into vote list. Anyhow, I ( actually my brother) took some photos during the service and some art pieces at the gallery. And videos! Yay! It tooks about 40 minutes to an hour just to upload 1 video. Enjoy!! :)

Last but not least, a photo of 'Us'. hehe
