Hello there! Did you enjoy yourself with your loves one during Valentine's day? I sure hope so! I didn't quite get to post all these cards before Valentine's day as I misplaced my memory card. So I ended up borrow from my friend. Here you go...

Same as above. I created this card with the same color combination and stamp sets along with coordinating die. I cut the sentiment strip with my zip zap scissor just to add extra element onto this card. 

And how about car with full of loves? As I wanted to keep the love die cuts as the focal point of this car, I decided to stamp the car stamp straight on to the card stock and colored with light grey marker. Then adhered with small buttons at the light of the 'tutu' car.

Next up is 

"Thinking of You, Always". Simple as that. All the kisses speaks how much you love your partner. Ha! I added the love shape die cuts at the end as it will be quite empty with only the kisses alone. 

Another simple and clean card. I then realized sometimes simple is better off than adding too much of details on it. It can simple as just adhere a large love die cut at the centre and add a simple sentiment at the bottom. Simple as that. You just have to play with the layout and sketch out the ideas then work from there. 

Now, the last card for today post. With unusual yellow, grey, red color combination, I'm not sure how this color combo will turn out but the result ain't that bad. Maybe it's only me..

I also played around with the flower die that I got from Papertrey a while ago.

Friday Love

Good day, everyone!

It's already the first October! 
 
I hope you all are doing good wherever you at and having a great time with your loves one. For the past few weeks, I was busying at work and... at home as well. My brother, SIL and nephew had moved to Miri and were staying with us while waiting their apartment is undergoing renovation. So we all who included my parents (the grandparents for Laurence) were busy playing with him. All good though (:

Anyway, SIL had requested a 1 month birthday card for brother's friend's baby boy. So I decided to make one after back from supper with brother's family (: 

I cut the cardstock into an onesie shape. Cuteee (: I die cut and colored the little truck and paired it with two buttons. At first, my plan was keep it simple but decided to put the scallop edge around the sleves. I'm not sure whether it is a good decision or not but hope the recipient will like it.

For the second card, I actually made the stripes background a while and left them on the table for quite some times. Before I sleep, I decided to give them a home. haha. So here's my take.

Notice the measure tap ribbon? Love it. I got it from a craft store while I last visited Sydney.

Sister Love

Sister is the Grey and I'm the Pink :)

It's good to have a sister :) It's even better when the sister is sharing same interest too. Haha. We was out for lunch and walked around in the shopping mall. Sister and I decided to get ourselves each a Pandora bracelet when sister spotted there's a store is having a 20% off sales.

I'm an Aunt

Hello to Baby Laurence. I believe my sis-in-law, Jasmine did a great job while theH still on his way back home panicking. According to my brother, both mother and baby are doing great, especially baby Laurence is Big baby. 3.6kg!!  sad that we can't be there right now but yeah!! We all decided to fly down to Melbourne next month for his full month celebration. Guess what. The grandpa and granny are flying in as well.. They both excited to hold their first grandson. I can't believe my parents became grandparents at this stage. It's all good. I definitely looking foward to meet with baby Laurence soon. Aunty {heart} you, Laurence!! You're the angel in our family now :)

Canberra's Trip 19-20/9/2009

Last minute decision. At first, I asked my mum (before she come to Sydney) whether she want to go to Canberra for Floriade. During Spring season, we have this festival, Floriade, over Canberra. She was worried about H1N1, so she said No at first. Ha! However, when she flew over, she just can't resist to say No to field of flowers. So, I rented a car and booked accommodation at very last minute. At first, we wanted to take the tour bus but is just too rush. I suggested that why not we rent a car, then I drive. We can set our own departure's time and drive around Canberra's city. Easier and convenient for us to drive to different locations.

Meantime, enjoy with the photos that we took during our -2 days 1 night- Canberra's trip. Believe me. It's worth to visit Canberra during spring season if you're a 'flower' person who just like my Mum. She said hooow she wish she could move all the flowers back to Malaysia. She wish.. Haha.. :)

We were on time for a florist arrangement class :) My mum's favorite.

After the florist arrangement's class, I found out that we have cupcake's deco right after that. Whee...my very first experience on making fondant cupcake :))

when we were young

My cousin, Ling Hui, just created a short video clip by putting all the old photos together. You all get to see how we used to look like with our nerd glasses, 90's hair style when we were young. It's kinda funny when you realize how 'pretty' when you wearing high waist jeans and funky hair style. haha.. just briefly introduce some of the actors and actresses in the video. The old lovely lady is my mum's mum (my granny who passed away few years ago), my lovely aunt (she always treat us like her own... that's why we all love her so much), my pretty mum (she look so hot! in her 70's dress.. haha), my siblings, mother's side cousins, Xiao Hui, Kat, Ling Hui, Quan, Kim, Moi moi, Lyshia, Sun fung, lots more. I used to be a tom-boyish kinda girl. My hair never have the chance to grow until shoulder. I always go to salon near by my house and asked the hair stylist, 'Please. Cut my hair'. Now, no more. I keep my hair long. Anyway, enjoy the video with my nerdy look in it which I never expose to the public before. hehe

Thank you for giving me a special family. And please bless them with your mighty hands. Give them more wisdom and faith in every single day. I love you Jesus! Amen.'

I know it's hard to say sorry when you know we tend to keep our face up when we involve in arguments. but hey, ask God give us wisdom and faith to be the first one to say 'Sorry'. Ask God to help us to get along with everyone. Be the first to say sorry after an argument. Show them you love them. My parents and siblings been so supportive and I know they always do. Even though there are a lot of arguments , hates, disappointment, but no one is perfect. We just have to learn to be more understanding, tolerance, patient and caring. I really thank God for giving me such a wonderful family.
